In January 2021 01T announced the go-live of their global core network, Global Network Exchange (GNeX).
Today, they announce the addition of further network footprints to GNeX, extending their Network reach globally and adding in all major cloud provider access services to the core. These include establishing cloud on-ramp locations in 4 key global nodes including partnerships with major cloud providers.
This marks the successful completion of the first phase expansion of GNeX.
01T has a historic growth model based on expanding the network and service offering to meet customer demand. Providing exceptional service is a fundamental belief within the 01T service offering. Delivering contemporary services that are required by new and existing customers forms a core element within this belief. This first phase of GNeX expansion echoes this growth model and we are delighted to announce that these new locations have been added to form part of our core network.
This now brings our total node count to 9 with 100G services available as standard at all locations.
GNeX seeks to revolutionise the way global connectivity services are consumed. The second phase of expansion will see the further development of high capacity ports as standard beyond 100G, re-writing the rules of international connectivity. Expect new locations to be added to the core network and an extended GNeX service portfolio.
GNeX will be officially released in the coming weeks. Drop us a message to be the first to know.
